    Default Few Little Questions

    just outta interest i was after everyones opinion on what would be the best dump valve to fit to my 56 plate 2.0t sri or if i should fit one at all.

    the second thing is what exhaust system would be best for the car direct fit or custom made jobbie

    and finally does anyone know if we can fitt the turbo from the vxr vectra to are cars as i have heard the vxr turbo is better but not sure if it would be a case of bolt on and play.

    all views welcome as it would help me know end on what to get for my car and clear up a few queries i have

    the car already has a recirculating dumpvalve fitted..if you wanted an atmospheric type, then FORGE Motorsport valaves have been fitted by members on here succesfully.. but it's a lot of greif for a little 'ppsshhhtt'...

    As for exhausts, by the time you've paid for a replacement VX system, it'll be the same price as getting someone like MIJ performance, or a local 'powerflow' agent to build you a decent custom one..

    and no. you can't fit the turbo from a VXR astra to the signum..the astra uses a derivation of the old C20LET ( a vauxhall engine) whereas the signum uses the Z20NET ( a Saab engine) and they are totally different..they are not bolt-on and play at all..

    If you wanted more 'fun' with your car, i'd suggest you do what several others have done, and go the BSR tuning route..Stage 1 costs about £500 and will see you to 200ish BHP from your 170odd standard...Stage 3 costs another £800ish but will see you and your standard turbo equipped car rocket up to near 250BHP ( and it includes a custom full stainless exhaust )
