well the vec finally went a month ago, was sad to see it go but the need for a smaller car and the smell of petrol led me over to ford in the end, had my st 3 weeks now and really am loving it, just had it upgraded to 300 bhp today
just thought i,d check in and see if all the old faces are still around, has nutron blew his new car up yet and has spoons quest for diesel domination bankrupted him yet hope everyones well and i,ll keep checking in from timr to time if thats o.k

keyless why dose it put them black rubber bits on the car

lol, yeah loving the ford snowflakes,
the black rubber bits have the button behind them which you press to lock everything and close windows, ie so you never have to take the keys out of your pockets. all a bit of a ballsup really as you still have to turn a key which is permnantley in the ignition, a starter button would have been much better, but keyless entry was an option i didnt tick but they accidently ordered it so i,m not complaining as i didnt pay for it

Hiya trucker, hows the ST with 300bhp?
If you fancy it, how about taking part in the 30-70 challenge. Here.
All you need to do is get yourself stopwatch, find a long stretch of quiet road and measure the time it takes to get from 30 to 70 mph through the gears (and 3rd gear). But you must hold the speed at 30mph before you start, then floor it to 70.
Be interested to see some figures for more powerful cars
