    confused Signum clutch?

I have manual 06 plate Signum 3.0CDTi and since remapping of electrics after 'limp home' incident operation of the clutch increases the revs when starting to depress pedal i.e. before disengaging to change gear and then the reverse happens once gear changed and the pedal is released i.e. revs drop just before last part of pedal travel! It's driving me nuts...especially as garage refuses to acknowledge fault! Only 10,500 miles and NetworkQ. Accelerator also very jerky when 'coasting' forwards at low speed in traffic.

Anybody suffering with this or better solved similar problem?

    Default Signum clutch?

How long have you had the car? You are allowed to exchange within 30 days under Network Q. Mentioning this may hurry them up. Put in writing as well.

Ian C recently had the same issue with his veccy 3.0. He also thought it was the clutch. Had it into VX and they told him there is nothing at all wrong with it. I can not write what the issue was due to maybe VX looking at this site.
Maybe PM him and he can confirm the exact issue's and solutions etc.
Hope this helps you out mate.

Also mate not to sure VX will be happy with a remaped warrented car. Have you told them you have done it?
Maybe they will void the warranty?
Somebody on here will confirm this.

Vx dealer remapped (their terminology) electrics after car entered limp home mode. Car is otherwise original and regrettably outside Network Q 30 day exchange.

you could still push them to take it back as the initail fault was within the 30 day period and they failed to fix it correctly..

They didn't remap it, the correct term is 'updated' the software to he latest version..

If it doesn't work sucessfully, i'd ask them to reinstall the software for your model year back onto the engines ECU..
