Vectra C- good used car buy?

Anyone see used car roadshow on men and motors last night? They had a guy who wanted to trade up from his old primera to something newer, more economical and a bit bigger for £6K. The presenter came up with 4 cars, a seat leon, which the guy ruled our straight away, a vectra C elegance 2.0Dti ona 52 plate, a new shape primera diesel on an 03 plate and a Mondeo TDI zetec on an 03 (I think)

He then discounted the mondeo straight away and took the primera and vectra for test drive.

The Verdict? Both cars were ex company with approx 60K miles but he said the vectra was comfier, felt bigger, better built, lighter and airier, and a real bargain for 6K.

Stick that in your cap Mr Clarkson

I saw that. The punter didnt know what the 3rd car was and rejected the Mondeo. But I think it is really TV tittle tattle, would you shortlist cars then reject one without even knowing what it is??

Some interesting bits and bobs on there, in terms of market pointers and, excuse me being blunt, the 'state the bleedin obvious' features.

plus Penny Mallory who looks as worn as some of the leather interiors, and a fat bloke who used to sell Audis.

lol@ Kitchpoo... saw Penny Mallory at 5 in the morning a couple of years back when she used to present the channel 4 WRC program.... she was rough as a badgers ****!!!

hmmm... tough one. I think i'd have to plump for penny though. Or maybe I could swap her for VBH? She could take me sideways anytime

god whoever did the content for her site wants shooting. Its full of spelling errors, gramar, doubled over text etc.... shocking. I still would though.
