Was stuck on that going over the Kincardine Bridge for ages! Don't think the car touched 10mph for 4 miles!
Was over that way this time last week and it was fine. I'd hate to see it at rush hour

I think you mean the M8 Car Park, T4M VX – that’s what it turns into when I try and get over the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow on a work day.
i didnt think the M8 went over the Kincardine Bridge,
Kingston Bridge!!
Kincardine Bridge is over Cumbernauld way - I was there last week. Always get them 2 mixed up......
The kingston Bridge - is supposed to be the biggest bottle neck in Europe or at least it was. Wait til they build the extension to the M74 to meet the M8.
Hopefully no more jams.
I have to cross the bridge to get to work near Townhead, except I turn off at Tradeston and under the bridge, drive along Quayside to the railway bridge, cross the water and rejoin the M8. I know its probably longer but you are always moving +15mph at least, and also I can't stand traffic lights and bus lanes and would go the ends of the Earth and back to avoid them.
Regards
Thankfully I no longer have to use the M8 to travel to work. Traffic was always slow from about 7 in the morning till half 9.
The A876 is the Kincardine Bridge, so I assume you mean the either the Kingston Bridge (Glasgow Ring Road) or White Cart Viaduct (Glasgow Airport)
The Kingston Bridge is Europes busiest Motorway bridge, the M8 is also the slowest in Britain!
Thankfully construction work has now started on completing the M74 / M8 Glasgow Ring Road
I often find that driving straight through the City Centre is now quicker!
When i'm heading that way I usually go around 11ish and the traffic runs quite smoothly, but today was a nightmare for some reason! The traffic was bumper to bumper as soon as i joined the M8, although there were no roadworks!
Coming back was the worst, although i'm guessing it was because it's Friday and people want home for the weekend! It has given me more experience driving on a busy motorway as I usually wait for it to be quiet.
Also, driving through the city centre is shocking! All the cars are cutting each other up, tailgating and just about every other piece dangerous driving you can think of!
The last two weeks of October are always the busiest on the M8
Wait until next week!
For this reason most roadworks on the M8 are suspended
