Default Poker on Facebook - some people annoy me!

Just been playing a few hands of Texas Hold 'em poker through facebook, I joined a table like normal.

Been on there 10 seconds and some guy keeps typing in the chat box...

"David Rock he's a ****", I ignored it a few times, then asked him what his problem was, then he started taking the mick out my picture, because I was wearing a vest top in Gran Canaria.

"I let dave have the chips coz he needs the points to buy a new t-shirt".

I just ignored him and he eventually left.

I thought about saying something back, but tried to rise above it, just wish people like that were standing infront of me so I could drop the nut!

Rant over! Back to calm Dave!!

    Its a virtual world...

Someone soon will invent the virtual ability to 'drop the nut' on people.

I was at a security seminar the other day...

You've heard of Anti-Virus products.... we'll they are now bringing them out for mobile phones... nothing new.... but they are also looking into Anti-Virus for CARS & GAMING MACHINES.

Apparently with the influx of on-line gaming (PS3, XBox, Wii), certain on-lines games machines are being 'compromised' by hackers and 'status' information is being stolen from these machines and sold on eBay.

So... if someone has done really well on a particular on-line game..... accrued virtual 'credits' or 'on-line status' or 'kudos'... it can be stolen and sold to others for a sum..

So.... protecting your virtual identity is becoming a real issue as it is now considered a 'real' assett. the same way as protecting your physical assetts.

Remember... your credit card details, your eBay account, your PayPal bank balance, your gaming status are ALL virtual assetts that are potentially at risk... stealing these from you is as real as someone breaking into your house and pinching your PS3 or Xbox for real !!

Nope... on-line fraud is MASSIVE... more than the banks will admit.

£millions per DAY are being stolen right now !!

So be careful with your data and stop visiting those porn sites, cos thats where most of the malware is coming from !!

The new era of malware/spyware/trojans have the abilty to go completely indetected by most AV/Spyware applications as they modify the actual AV/Spyware programs themselves. So when they self-test, all appears to be correct .....

.... anyways.... nothing you can do about it, other than make sure you have a decent Firewall & AV (Malware) scanning tool and stop visiting pornsites... !! (Gone are the days of 'kudos' seeking virus writers.... its all about your money now... and they want it bad !!)
