    Default just noticed a light.. whats it for ? :)

    Quick one for you.. I have a light on the bottom of my rear view mirror on my 2.0t 2004 vectra, wondering what its for ?

    Ambient lighting mate, so you can see the gear stick in the dark.

    I got two red leds in the skoda, reflects off the chrome surround really nice, it does give the car a more upmarket feel, and I'm sure it adds to safety.

    My neighbour has this light on his veccy sri, but i dont on my signum design?

    Is it possible to fit one in the existing RVM or do i have to buy a new one?

    It was mentioned before but I think it is only the mirrors with the automatic anti-dazzle feature that have the light.

    My Ren-no had red lights under the mirror as well - about the only classy thing on the whole car......

    The VX orange light doesn't look quite as good but is certainly handy

    Probably, but you'd need to take the mirror off and prise out the cap, then you'd need to source a cap the colour you want and glue it back in, I'm assuming the colour is in the cap rather than the bulb, could be wrong though.

    Colour is in the bulb VV. You may be able to desolder it (it's an SMD) and solder on one of a different colour like you can with the door switch/headlight switch lights etc.
