rear boot spoiler

hi
does any one have a picture of the bolts under the boot of the rear spoiler wing for a vectra c hatch

just brought one and want to fit it myself
so any help on how to fit it would be helpfull

a picture of the bolts is one thing

.. a wing without a drilling guide is another thing all together..

..

All i can really advise if you don't have the drilling template, is plenty of masking tape across the boot and careful measuring to get it central and to find the hole locations..my (copy) spoiler has M5 studs in it and I even had to drill and screw the centre post through the boot lid skin which neccesitated putting a 30mm hole in the boots inner stiffner panel as well..

As the c#ckup potential is huge here, if you're in any doubt, get a bodyshop to whack it on for you..

Is this the flat wing or the DTM version, I may have a pdf for the fitting instructions for DTM one.

I bought the DTM one from e-styling, but used the irmscher instructions.
Worked out ok

hi thanks for the reply
i have the normal irmsher one not the dtm
i would take it a body shop but not sure if thet will treat the hole for rust
and dont want to replaces the hatch in a couple of years time because of rust

but had thought after watching my son playing with play-dough
do you think it will work if i place some dough on the boot where the rear wing will fit
line it up and push it into the dough and it should leave a mark where the drills holes should be
do you think it will work

it may well do just that..

...

don't forget to seal around all the legs of the spoiler with 'silkaflex' or a similar product to seal the moisture out..

hi just an update and
thanks for all your help
rear wing fitted today and looks the dogs b#####
a bit scarded when drilling
but the play-dough trick worked a treat
