    Default Bl**dy Builders!

Yesterday afternoon, i parked my car up, and as i walked away, for whatever reason i turned to look at it, and noticed the front bumper appeared to have a mass of stone chips all over the front of it! Now they dont just appear in the quantity they were, so i was a bit confused. I came back in, checked some photo's i had taken last week, and it was fine then... So i am really confused now!

I gets home from work today, and as i park the car up, the builders are putting a new drivieway in at a house across the road from me. Thinking nothing of it, i come inside, then 20 minutes later realize i have left my phones in the car, so go to get them...

The F*cking T*ssers are cutting, with a huge grinder, lumps of concrete in half about 18 inches from the front of my car! I was very vocal in my cursing of the builders, and when i went out 10 minutes later, they were cutting the concrete on the driveway they were building Now it all started to fall into place, Last week, friday i think when i got home, they had just started doing the driveway, and i parked my car about half a cars length behind their Nissan Cabstar thing. I reckon its a good bet that its something they have cut which has mullered my front bumper.

All is not lost, as i had half a tube of Megs Scratch X, so gave it a quick whirl, and its not good by any stretch, but its a damn sight better than it was, and it wil see winter out and get it painted in the Spring months, no point doing it now!

    Default builders

.....dont let them off. I would have approached them to demonstrate the damage and demand they cover the costs of having the bumper re-sprayed.

A few years ago, my neighbour was having an extension on their house and I came out to the car for one reason or another to find a tile lying on the floor next to my car having bounced off the bonnet.

After approaching the builders about it, their first comment was - "must have slipped off your roof mate, nothing to do with us" but I did point out that what were the chances of a rogue tile falling off my roof the very same day they were joining a new roof extension to the existing roof extension...err...dont think so !!!

They agreed to cover any costs so had my bonnet painted.

I would have a word with the owners of the house. If you get on with them they should mention it to the builders

The mindless people out there that damage other peoples cars without a care in the world really does ***k me of. Its so annoying and more common now days. I just cant keep a cool head anymore when i see it happen. We pay alot of money to drive nice cars. Pay loads to keep them on the road and more to keep them looking clean.

    And relax...
