SRI Alloy & Tyre question

In advance of getting my posts up to the number needed to be able to use the sales section......

I posted a question about snowflake wheels before and having picked up my new vectra this week which had the 18" wheels on, I decided to get the 19" snowflakes which I had orignally thought were standard until I realised the 2008 model had changed.

So now I have spare set of brand new wheels and tyres which I was intending to keep for the day my snowflakes get damaged or stolen.

However the wife thinks thats stupid and I should get rid on ebay but I don't know what to ask for them. Any ideas?
4 x 18" alloys (2008 SRI model) including Bridgestone Potenza RE040 tyres with jsut delivery mileage on them. Effectively brand new.

PS. Please don't PM me to buy as I don't want to break forum rules and I'm not selling at this time. I'm just after advise on how much I could get.

I think the going rate for the old SRi alloys was £4-£500, but if you have the new 18" multi spoke jobs then I dont really know.....maybe more?

Get some pics up then m8 They will sell as a lot of people want 18's for the slightly softer ride they give as opposed to the 19's.

I'm assuming £500 is the alloys as the tyres are new and retail at £144 each. As such is £1000 for wheels and tyres the right area?

If I post pics and sell from here I will get a slapped wrist for using the wrong forum and I'm not allowed to sell as I haven't been a member long enough ! It will ahve to be ebay I think ! :-(

yep £800 to £1000 is about right...but as you said.. Ebay only till you get the relevant permissions from the forum software..
