    Default Speed Camera Detectors

Never considered these before - but was in a taxi last night and the guy had one, very small and discrete.

Where is the best place to locate one of these in the Vectra - and what are the best models available?

Please post a photo of where you located yours

    Thanks

I use the SNOOPER S4 EVO and another device that goes one step further that just telling me where speed cameras are!

I have my bracket mounted just above the centre speaker on the dash. the suckers are below the window so now thiefs can see it.

i also wired in a remote speaker which is in one of the roof compartments. as sometimes i couldnt hear the warnings.

The S4 is really good it has spoken warnings and loads of settings. The newer version is the Snooper sapphire.they are great to have especially if like me you travel all over the place.

if you have a portable satnav you can download camera locations onto most of them.

Check out fleebay for some bargins!

I will post a pic later on.

I got the road angel compaq(i think). Nice and small and i place it in the centre of the dash. Its got the craddle that sticks to the window. The craddle sticks to the window while sitting on the dash so its low so its not in the way of your view of the road

I would go for Road Angel, or as I have, speed camera alerts on my TomTom!

I've got a snooper s4,very good unit as it only gives the information you want,ie speed limit for camera and whether or not you're are speeding for it,as it's being phased out you can get them for £99 online,i've mounted mine next to the r/view mirror hardwired it in so it's really discreet
