Didn't i feel like a........
Right **** this morning
I stopped in at Sainsburys petrol station this morning to fill up and everything was fine up until i had to take the fu**ing nozzle out of the tank!!Not happening i turned it, twisted it and even gave it a ****** good yank to get it out but it still wasn't budging
The next thing was then i had the woman that was in the garage shouting at me over the tanoy system asking me what the hold up was, as i had been there for about 10 mins already!!
So then the woman comes out and asks me what the problem is so i told her that the pump was stuck and i couldn't budge it! Then she looks at me as if i'm daft and as if i've never been in a petrol station before so she says let me see,she then proceeds to do what i've been doing for the last 10 mins with no joy (shock horror) So she then calls for back up, and the store manager appears 5 mins later from the main Sainsburys store, he asked me if i've ever used there new pumps before and i informed him that i only fill up at this garage and i have been doing for years (The new pumps were fitted around 3 or 4 months ago)
So he went back into the garage and came out with a screwdriver and a torch and it turned out that the teeth running down the underside of there new pumps had cought on the lip of the tank so he had to bend the plastic down and lever the pump nozzle up the way and then POP out it came!!By this time i had been at this ****ing pump for about 20 mins anyway needless to say i'll never push any pump right into the tank again!!
