    Default Immobiliser problem?

I popped into Asda to get my lottery and when i returned to the car i got in as usual turned the key and nothing happened no clicking or any other noises. The ignition lights came on but the starter didn't turn or even kick. It did this twice and then i thought it's a job for the AA then i rememberd i'd better remove the green tuning box before i called them.Anyway coincidence or not i then tried starting the car with box removed and it started no problem first time.I then reattached and tried starting and it started first time as well with no problem!
Does this sound like an immobiliser problem to you's as surely if it was the tuning box that wouldn't stop the starter from turning over when the key is turned would it?

If it was a problem with the immobliser then it would have the padlock symbol on the dash in the display. Did you see it?
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

If you try starting and it doesnt catch, just lock the doors again then open(using remote)this resets immobiliser and car will start as normal. This feature will reset nearly all immob faults on many new car makes and models.
