    Smile Red Dot Remap

My remap is still ongoing, we tried some more changes yesterday and it's feeling very strong. Currently it's kicking out 195bhp but it's far less smokey than the tuning boxes at this level. Once we get to a genuine 200bhp on the remap alone I'll call it a day but for now it's a work in progress still.

Not developing but yes remapping. The closest thing to a live map you can get, tried four maps on the rollers on Friday. We test them and then modify them and try again. The aim is to get to 200bhp as I said but without a big cloud of smoke following me.

Unfortunatly the guy that writes the maps can't be there for the 20th but his map will be.

Took my caterman off as it was up for its first service and then rang the guy for a remap. The remap as you say will go to 195bhp but as you drive the car the ecu will learn what way you are driving and will increase to 203 to 205bhp as a guy from over here got it done the other day and was told the same.Dont know why the remaps are cheaper over here but will do it for 220+vat but if i bring my mate with his new 320d sport bmw he will give us discount. This guy put my truck from 480 bhp to 580 bhp and had no problems but just pure pulling power with a heavy load on it.torquetronix.co.uk

I gained less than 5bhp through the ecu learning so I wouldn't expect +10. To get 200+ bhp it will probably smoke heavily, which is why we are mapping it very differently from any other maps I've seen so far.

Every map done at Torquetronix is done as a custom remap, proved on the rollers before and after and also AFR Meter connected so emissions are correct and smoke is minimal.
All this for £220+VAT giving 195-205bhp.

Well given that Nutron is in Southern England and torquetronix are in NI, I don't think he'll be popping over! So now that the two of you have had your plug for that company .....

Sounding good Nutron - let's see if they get to that 200 mark without smoke.
