Default And I thought it was something to make pots with...

Just had my first experience of claying today and I'm seriously impressed! Highly, highly recommended to anyone who hasn't tried it yet. No more crap stuck on my bonnet, doors or front bumper, they're all as smooth as a babys bum. So little effort needed too...

Just one thing letting my Vectra down now (apart from the scrape on the bumper ) and that's the crap which builds up between the letters on the wings and griffin badge on the tailgate. Anyone got any tips for sorting them out? Only thing I can think of is pulling them off, polishing the panels and then sticking them back on but I doubt I'd ever get them straight...

Some cotton buds dipped in megs paint cleaner should do the trick.

    Or

Why not just remove them and leave them off. A number of people on here have done this and it looks good. I will eventually get round to removing the badges and claying my car, just too lazy at the moment.
