I ordered a new set of plates that were dispatched on Friday but delayed due to the strike.

Haven't seen a postie since last Tuesday!!!

they finish the strike at midday tomm..but it will take till the end of the week for normal service to resume...

.. my mate is postie.. and P'd off at being on strike....

Do they get paid while on strike?

nope.... he's well down on his take home..

he miss's bonus's as well.. so he's only getting 60% of his monthly money...all because some union guy has pulled them out on strike..

As for the strike, nobody ever gets back the money they loose whilst out!

Forget all talk of pay rise's for these guys n girls...Royal mail have introduced new working practice's which, even after any new pay settlement, will leave the average postie £110 a month worse off for doing the same job...

Yes, i miss my post, but these folks do have to earn a living.. i just wish the union did something different and stop hurting the folks they are supposed to represent..

not a union guy pulled him out on strike ! HE is the UNION ! they have a legit reason for doin it its there only tool they have , they provide a priceless service and we should be supporting them not dissin them .
I've been thewre done that and its not easy on anyone families in particular !!!!!
