I have just put my 18" wheels on my Vec. The tyre size is 225/40/18. What tyre pressure do you think I should put in? Thanks for any advice

i run mine at 40 all round...conti sport contact2's...wearing very evenly thankyou..
Has anyone else got the same size tyres?
Yep i used to run these tyres at 40 PSi all round on both the 3.2 and the 2.2 DTi
Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!
As a general rule of thumb, twice the rim diameter. So 18x2=36. So 36-40 is ok imo
This signum is new to me and I want to get the best I can out of it - just like my vectras -----My manual states 32/32 for my 215/50/17 and on the kk site it states31/29. If I double the rim should I there for be doing 34/34??
I almost never have anything in the back - and only put 3/4 of a tank in at a time (why carry petrol for the man?) Anyone any advice?
on this subject i was out today hit a small like creature and it puntured my 225/40/18 mich' tyre bit of a tw*t but and the are putting in hydrogen in the tyres instead of conventional air they say it increases handling and ride comfort...... does it any1 else know of this?
nitrogen i knew it was something like that i think i was being b*ll**d by the missus for spending 132.50 on a new tyre hehehe
either way does it work?? what happens say if i was at a petrol station and needed to but some in would i have to empty the tyre first of it then fill it or change the rest of the tyres for it to work it seems daft to me but i understand why its used
