Default Good news, BAD news and Good News

Some of you know I'm waiting for my new car, well I popped up to the garage today to sort out the car tax and insurance,

    Good news
My car was delivered and I'm collecting it Monday
It looks to really good, with
    Sport button
    IDS plus
ESP plus, with the follow extras
    VXR steering wheel,
    VXR gear shifter
    IPOD connector,

,,,,,, now some of you may know where I'm going with this

    BAD NEWS
Its got 18" multi spoke alloys

    Good news,
Picador are going to sort me out a set of snow flakes for £200 !

I think this is pretty fair as i got so much discount from them on the car I know if I forced them to give them to me free they would lose money on the deal, and I'm not like that and they look after me so well I happy with that,

we've got a case in with VX , you never know they may pay the £200 , just waiting for a call back on that,

I'll post some pictures later on if I can,

Good news mark, at least you get the proper front bumper, My dealers called me back today with prices on a VXR bumper with honeycomb grilles, £580 pianted, Painting was £75, which i though was good for a mail dealer, i paid £100 to have a bumper painted on our astra, and that was mates rates..
Good news that your dealers is getting snowflakes for £200 for you..
Monday will soon be here.. Did you have it supagarded? Also you can get the VXR bottom bits on ebay for the steering wheel, i think they are around £20 on there at the mo.

    Hi Pete,

No to the Supergaurd, £300 for a teflon film ! I did get the pack of ebay to do the paint, which is 2x 100 sponges and 2 cans of wheel protection.

Had a quote to get it done which I was going to go with but spent the money on the wheels , no contest really,

I may do it myself, ??

I must say the steering wheel look massive , can't wait to get the car now specially after driving my m8's Mini Cooper CPW for 5 weeks, thursty little thing.

Just got to wait a 2/3 weeks for the alloys to come in and get some tyres on, them she's back in to get them swapped over and a possible visit by Wortec

What's the point?, you ain't got a VXR . I sold the VXR badge off mine along with the silver audio controls on e-bay, I'm more than happy with the steering wheel it feels so much better than the standard one .

But i'll get prices from both including discount and get it done as soon as poss...
