radiator

Hi,hate to start my intro to your forum with a moan,but has anybody had trouble with a leaking radiator.My vectra is only 2 years old & the radiator seems to be rusted through & leaking.Local dealer is useless(won't even look at it till middle of next week,if they are not to busy.)

Thanks everybody,I've had various vauxhalls for years &loved everyone but I think they are letting themselves down lately with niggley(spelling?) faults that should be put right in prodution.

Welcome Ian, hope you sort the rad.

It shouldn't rust & should contain antifreeze which inhibits corrosion anyway. When the rad is repaired I'd renew the antifreeze at the same time otherwise when the frosts come you could have massive damage to the engine.

Try another dealer as well, yours doesn't sound too helpful.
