    Default Best lowering spring's

    Looking to lower the car very soon so looking for advice on what are the best spring's on the market for the 2.0T??

    I dont really know much about this side of things so any advice would be good

    i would recommend the Eibach Pro Kit springs, they're the same ones as Irmscher use in their kit.

    and you can a good price from Steve @ LMF - £145ish inc P&P

    As above - can't really go wrong with those. Can't recall what spec yours is Steven, but if it hasn't got the SRi type suspension, I'd also look at changing the dampers too. Lowered springs on normal dampers isn't too great.

    Erm can anyone tell me the axel weight of the 2.0T - had a search but canny find anything and its dark outside

    So uprated springs on sri's work fine with standard shocks then yea

    Just look on the plate on the driver's side B pillar - it's the line that has 1 - xxxx. xxxx being your front axle weight. Mine, from memory, is 1060kg. I think the Vectra would be the same for the front as a Signum, but I'd check.

    I fitted PI springs to my 1.8 SRi. They were a 15mm drop being as the SRi's are dropped by 15mm as standard and are superb.

    The ride is still comfortable and handles like it's on rails.

    These guys were the cheapest and the service was excellent.
