Should i have my car re - tracked after fitting 19" snowflakes from the standard 17" Sri wheels ?
I have noticed the 'tram lining' alot more (as expected ) but theres a lot more torque steer than expected and 'squirming' under heavy breaking.
Is this all down to the tracking with bigger wheels on or dosn't it make any difference ?

it should'nt need it !? i have mine checked after being lowered ! but you will notice more tramlining ! its unavoidable with wider tyres and a smaller amount of rubber between rim and road matey !!

Went to Micheldever Tyres last week and they managed to knock the tracking out trying to take the wheel off!

£20 to have tracking checked can save alot more than that on tyre costs I reckon.

The cost of tracking against the cost of tyres? Git it done mate. Have a full laser 4 wheel alignment done, chances are it will be out anyway. IMO money well spent

You shouldnt need tracking done unless you are lowering the car. But if in doubt get it done. I have mine rechecked every 6-12 months !!

19" wheels will tramline more for sure.... and they will squirm under heavy braking...

You wanna try 6-Pot AP Racing Brakes from high speed to a dead stop breaking manouver... Its like a Gym workout just trying to stay in the seat... lol .... I swear if I ever hit a pot hole whilst braking hard it would set the airbags off !!

    ^^ lol...

It could also be down to the tyres, wide pattern directional tread tyres are known for tram-lining
