    Default Spray Paint

Done a quick search and can't find anything.

Do VX sell tins of spray paint? I need a tin of Ultra-Blue to colour code some of my accessories. Any ideas on pricing?

    Thanks All,
    Adam

Hellfrauds sell paint to match your car. Guess at £6 but not sure

I was looking in their little flip chart last time I was in there and couldn't find Ultra Blue listed. I might have to ask at their parts desk if they can order it.

I'm pretty sure you can buy it from vaux, and its better quality than the halfords stuff aswell. Better chance of getting an accurate match.

Car manufacturers usually store batches of paint which will match your production line number (I know Rover did) so if you take your vin they should be able to supply you will the exact paint match. This is usually for spraying full panels etc. not so important of a few accessories I guess.

Best to get it from somewhere that specialises in paints... I use a small local Automotive Paint supplier... he couldn't find the paint code for Saturn Blue, so he called Vx and they gave him the colour code to do my mudguards.

Specialists are able to mix up special blends for spraying plastics and flexible parts, and they use better tins with adjustable fan nozzles.
