Default Best Trip MPG you can achieve

Heres a challenge for the diesel owners - 3.2gsi's can try but I somehow doubt they will come close.

You can set your display to show trip MPG and then for the next 100 miles or so drive like a granny. A pain I know, but you might be really surprised at what you can get.

My trip mileage shows this is from 117.6 miles - not just coasted 100 yards and recorded mpg, the MPG - see for yourself. I must stress I have a caterman box on so it wont be spot on, but I have changed up at between 1500 - 2000 revs and used a really light boot on the gas.

thats good, I went to Manchester and back from York the other week and averaged just over 73 mpg, most of that was sat with cruise control on at 80mph. Again I have the DTUK tuning box in so wont be spot on but should still be over 60 mpg.

Unfortunately my journeys now have no motorway or A road, all country roads but very little traffic. At 60 on the motorway I would imagine even more mpg possible.

My motor will only dream of those sort of figures, but it is fun to drive though.
