we started with jasons 234 bhp and then drinkys 226 ... mine had a few problems after 5000 rpm ... it seem to shut down , then recover only to shut down again ... i only ran 95 ron petrol ( as it felt more responsive on the road ) but alas didn't like it when it was taken to the higher limits ... the remap has obviously advanced the timing so the 95 ron fuel couldn't hack it !!! but its sorted and back to 97 ron !!!! ready for the next r/r day

the rollers seemed to be over estimating to start with , but that later was rubished by some of the guys having similar or lower readings later on !!! to what they'd achieved in previous power runs ( including myself)

well done jason ... but i do feel your isn;'t standard !! drinky was hard done to IMO as he had a similar wheel figure to me and jason .. but his looses more bhp through the transmition ( being an auto ) , but was given the 226 ???( a rough estimate given by the chap.... as auto's can't get a accurate flywheel figure !!

well done to the diesel guys ..... and of course not forgetting john in his 2.0T

thanks to Ian for orgaising the event and chris for the bbq

lol - Phil... dont take offense cos I'm only joking in what I'm about to say... but its still funny...

Have you noticed that all the guys that did well have NO EXCUSES... just gone away happy.

Have you then noticed that all the guys that didn't do as well as they thought.... have gone away with EXCUSES....

Spoons - Remap fitted day before was rubbish and car had LOST power !!
ChrisGettings - Left Airconditioning Turned On during run losing around 10% Power !!
BigPhil - Running 95 ron fuel instead of 97 ron !!
Nutron - Couldnt turn it up to FULL POWER cos the rollers couldnt take it !!
ParaPaul - Didnt have an excuse, but just realised that it was a Regal Remap !!

So.... this means that it was all null and void... so we need a new Rolling Road day cos we weren't ready
