    Post How do I colour code my bumper spoilers & sideskirts????

    Hi everyone
    I wanted to know if at all possible to colour code my black plastic front & rear bumper spoilers & side skirts???

    If at all poss, any info would help big!!!!

    Im also changing my sidelight repeaters from the standard orange lense to clear, are they stuck on or clip-on???

    hi mate its not straight forward as you need to give them a good rub down and then degrease them so they are clean, then a good coat of plactic primer then a rub down and then primer before the top coat. most body shops are now useing water base paint so they can paint wet on wet

    Hi, thanks for that m8. Can u buy the paint in a spray can, if so would it be the dealers??? Also do you rub down to make smooth surface?? matt

    depends on the finish you want if you want a nice smoth finish then give it a good rubb down till smooth amd the paint can be brought i a can to match for car coulor. you could buy it from a body shop factor i.e ar davies, avenue panel. if you have these sort of named factors your way.

    Thats great im going to give it a go. Did u mean u can match the paint??
    I think I know somewhere that sells paint.

    To save a lot of grief I would approach a bodyshop or two to get some quotes to get it done properly - it might not cost as much as you'd think.

    Are those bit removeable? If so then it may be even cheaper as the bodyshop can do them at their leisure if you get my drift.

    the parts can be removed as i have done mine. but the paint can be quiet dear if they use water base

    Side repeaters are clip in and slide out.
    Buy the clear 1s from VXL dealer as they are under 4 quid each n use the original bulbs.
