    Question New sri damaged(Human error???)

Hi all, was wondering if anybody knows of any faults on the 1.8i petrol SRI,in particular the stearing or wheels??

The reason I'm asking is I picked up my new sri from the garage at 1230pm and by 10.00pm I ended putting into a kirb at the side of the road(I was turning right to go up a hill and the car skidded right towards the kirb)If I didnt put my foot down to bring the car out the slide I think it could be a lot worse.
I was not going to fast and have taken the same corner loads of time as it leads to my home. I checked for oil etc on the road and it was dry no oil nothing.
The car has 53 miles on the clock and now cannot be driven until the front offside wheel gets put bacj into the right place.
    Any ideas anyone??

unless it's obviously assembled wrong, it does seem to be just a 'circumstance' thing.. there are no known problems with the steering or wheels/hubs that would result in that happening.. i suppose the wheel is on tight?..

i'd have it checked out ! the bottom arm bushes can wear ! but it should cause this sort of trouble if worn !

Veccy, it's a Brand new car.. so that isn't going to be the case is it??....

unless the wheel nuts have been left loose, or something has snapped, you've got NO chance of getting the dealer to pick the bill up...they'll just blame you for poor driving of it..

As already said unless you can prove without doubt that it was a dealer mistake, you will pay the bill no 2 ways about it m8. Sorry.
