Default Canon Photography course Chester Zoo.

Forget modding the car......I have a New Shopping List!!!!!!

I had a really enjoyable day in Chester Zoo today on a basic photgraphy course.

There were 20 deligates of varing abilities and so on. Some of the content was very basic and at one point I thought pehaps I had made a mistake. However I have learnt a few tricks now and enjoyed the experience.

The Morning was a death by powerpoint show but at the same time very informative. In the afternoon we went out and wandered round asking:

How do I take this shot?

    and

    How does that work?

    and

    Why did that happen?

Brian our instrutor was a head man at Canon and was able to explain all the features clearly and concisely in English. It is for Canon users and what really made my day was the use of a 100-400mm L lens all afternoon. Guess what I want for Christmas!!!

Heres some snaps from the day:

Here we have the lesser spotted novice!

Flora and Fawna. Something I've never done before:

    Animals:

On the way home I took some landscape shots and tried a Cokin Sunset Grad filter:
