    Default odd tyre ??

    is ok to put a 225/45/17 on the front of my veccy sri cdti ....the other 3 tryes are pretty new but are the "normal" size if you know what I mean ...

    nope.. law says the tyres on an axle must all be the same size, so if the standard size is 215/50/17 you can't mix in the 225/45...

    just had a check around my other tyre's and found out that the other 3 are 205/50/17 ....now I'm confused I thought the proper size were 215/50/17

    what do i do ???I need a new tyre on the front ....I don't have to change all them.....do I ???

    you could just put another 205/50/17 on or change two on one axle to 215/50/17 or 225/45/17. Then put the new ones on the back. Thats what I would do anyway - put 2 on.
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    but are the 205/50/17's ok on my car ....I've seen the 215 and 225 sizes for my car but never 205 ??

    205's on 17's are the wrong size. Its up to you if you want to change them. Personally I know what I would do. If they are getting low I would consider changing them anyway tbh.
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    See HERE for speed ratings. You need a "V" rated tyre m8
