    Default SRi in a Tornado

Well, an interesting experience this morning...

On my way to work, minding my own business...raining a bit, then all of a sudden the conditions outside turn really nasty....Torrential rain, bits of tree and debris blowing all around the car, wind force pushing and pulling, then all of a sudden nothing again.... relative calmness...

A bit shaken, but not stirred. Gets to work and forgets about it, but find out later that the area I had driven through had been hit by a tornado at that time...

No cows flying past as per the Twister film, but still interesting to say the least

I was expecting to find something like a pic of a Vectra embedded in a Tornado plane when I saw the title!

Interesting experience by the sounds of it!

We had a 'storm' here earlier. I was woken up about 6.20 (I'm on Holiday!!!) by a commotion outside, the rain was lashing down in waves and the trees were bent almost over! Must have lasted about 15 - 20 minutes or so. Fast forward 4 or 5 hours and it's glorious! Blue skies, Bright sun!

Now I think about it, it was quite similar to weather we had in Cuba while we were there. Just a bit cooler and no cats trying to get in the bed for a snuggle!

Thinking about it, it's been a bit weird here too. Woke up to find the wheely bin blown over in the back garden, the old gate that I've recently replaced (which was leaning against the garage) also blown over - and that must've taken a bit of force. Then we had crappy weather this morning, now it's sunshine and blue sky! Weird!

I think you have more chance of Tornado like performance in your Siggie Duncan, than I do in my lowly SRi...

I was awake at that time anyway (bit of insomnia) and boy did it lash it down - our patio was awash!

Bit scary to be driving around in high winds flyingkiwi - when we last had that day of very high winds earlier in the year I was working in deepest Wiltshire and it was a frightening drive back, dodging all the branches and debris...

Very weird weather. Left the house just before 8, some drizzle, nothing to worry about, 25 yards down the road, gets so dark the street lights come on again. Then the rain starts and the wind. Within seconds totally soaked through, turn head home change....by the time I left again....blue skies
