Default Wiring In An Roof Screen

    Guys And Girls

    Help Please

I've Just Purchased An Overhead Screen For The Veccy (to Keep The Kids Quiet) Gone Mad And Got Sizes Slighty Wrong (bit Too Big Really)

Anyway Question Is: Can I Take The Power From The Rear Overhead Light Cable Or Do I Need To Go Somewhere Else To Find Power?
    Install Instructions Are Useless

Also While I'm At It Will The Headliner Take The Weight Or Do I Need To Fix To The Car ?

    Any Help Welcome

    Thanks In Advance

    Liam

If it was me m8, i'd take a seperate power feed and NOT rely on the headlining to support it. There should be a brace running over the centre of the roof to secure it to.

I agree with above mate. Take your Power from another source. If it's a big screen use the roof support, not the headliners (children crying with a big bump on their heads is very annoying)

How about getting a pro company to fit it?

Take the power feed from the rear cig lighter (auxillery power output). Its not canbus and will turn off with the ignition. You could run the lines up the door pillar.
