sri on tour in france!!

Bonjour Rodders!! Not long been back from france after summer hols and it has got to be said I have never driven a car that has attracted so much attention as mine!! It is star silver bog standard Vectra C 1.9 sri but felt like a ferrari enzo!! The only other one I saw was a fellow brit. It is obviously not a model many people have seen before and would be badged as an opel in any case. Whenever we drove anywhere people (mainly groups of lads) would stop and nudge each other staring and pointing at the car. It was a most bizarre experience. Mange tout!! Mange tout!!

i got that when i swaped my badges for opel ones on my first C ! one bloke thought i'd actually swapped my car ! he he , sounds like you have fun !? trebien !!

strange..........when i took my car to calais for some beer on the way back to the car there was 3 blokes standing at the estate talking in french about it. Don't know if it was good or bad but I had a big smile on my face...

Maybe they were thinking of doing the car over. After all the French are not the friendliest of our european partners. Or like you say it could be that your car is a stunner. I wonder what they would think of the upgaded model. The siggy.

Yep i didn't see any opel vecs at all drving round my celtic cousins back yard.
Even when i was over at Amsterdam i only saw on beaten up GTS.
funny thing car markets.
