2.2 dti sri

ok i am gettting a 2.2 dti sri in the next couple of weeks and was wondering whatr to do to free up a few more horses and a sizeable amount of torque. what steps do i need to do other than airbox mods. also would people recommend a carbon sealed air filter e.g bmc, viper etc. or just mod the box and put a decent panel filter in it? what power increases can i expect?

Welcome to the Forum.
The 2.2 DTI is booked at pushing out 123BHP.
With a Chip, you are looking at 155 (ish).
That is your best option.
I have fitted a Boost Contoller (although I keep breaking them), and K&N57i with a heatsheild.
If you can put up with the low rev "wooshing" noise it's a fairly decent mod.
The Airbox mod, didn't really do it for me.. so can't comment on it.
Either way though the Top BHP for this engine is around 160BHP.

yea i was running 157 with a diesel tuner box, now I have exhaust and k&n so prob just over 160.

Best mod to the DTi is lose the catalyst. My 2.0DTi gained 6hp and 40lb/ft just by cutting out the cat.

that is next thing to do ZS..

MY zorst was made by longlife, but the guy who is doin my cat can make a better zorst and gain more hp but my fuel thingy (lol) may have too much pressure on it.........
