You just don't think of the obvious sometimes mate, but how often do you hear of faulty spark plugs. never mind at least it was a cheap fix!.
A guy i used to work with once bought a mini engine from a scrap yard cos his had blown up. when he got it home he fitted new plugs air filter oil etc and put the engine in fired her up misfired like hell. he checked everthing no joy so pulled the engine out took it back and the bloke said take another no problem. he get home fits the engine without doing anything to it and it runs fine puts the new plugs in and ........ misfire. He had 2 faulty plugs and as expected was a bit peed off.

Check back in the service history, depending on if your service history is time intervals or mileage dependent then I would have thought the servcie at 38K miles would have been a major one and included all service components including spark plug renewal interval
If they were indeed replaced at that service, then they should be covered by 12 month warranty

My previous Vectra 2.0 had the spark plugs replaced at 40K mile service intervals, along with the cambelt kit and all other service components
Expensive, but cheaper in the long-term

Isn't spark plug interval 80,000 miles??

53K and up for 4th service??? Is 3.2 service interval shorter than others??
