Post How to get more from your turbo.

Here is a little diagram of how to rig up a system for increasing the turbo pressure. It effectivly keeps the same boost curve and when you're not accellerating it doesn't have any tangable effect. It allows the turbo to over boost to a higher level and then it drops back slowly to the standard level.

The graph is a rough plot of PSI against rpm for the effected engine.

I think I'll leave mine as it is and just let the pro's do the tuning.

Tuned it down for the ride home, it was peeking to 1.82 kg/cm2 which is around 26 PSI. That's below the 28PSI the Alfas kick out as standard so I shouldn't have any trouble there.

Does anyone work with neumatics or know where I could get a variable one way restrictor and vacume pump cheapish?
