Just a few snaps of the day today at Luton.

As has already been said, it was a cracking day, big thanks to Mark GSi for organizing the meal afterwards too.

A line up of a few of the members cars today..

And a couple more, Spoon's VXRD in the foreground, Cameraman's behind it.

While everyone else is looking at cars, Rich(DitchP) is cleaning his! Gotta admire his dedication!

Duncan was like a kid in a toy shop with his new toys!

Then like the Krypton Factor wedging it all in, while everyone else stands and watches!

Bet some of you didnt know Vauxhall made trucks as well did you, ok they were'nt very good, but at least they tried!

A bit of Vauxhall history....

Now on to the "Proper" Vauxhalls...

The last car ever to come out of the factory at Luton...

I like, alot!... So did Mrs.GSi...

A true legend, a Lotus Carlton, just back from a Press Shoot with a stone chipped front bumper..

A genuine 19000 on the clock...

Where would you start if it broke down....

Is this the very first VXR, its an XVR Concpet car from 1966..(yes i know i have put XVR, thats what its called)

The reason why we have Vectra's today, The Mk1 Cavalier...

Swiftly followed by the Mk2..

I had one of these once, and loved it....

Now who remembers these, 2 names from the Motorsport Past....

Trophies galore from Vauxhall Motorport Teams...

This is where they actually restore and prepare the cars for display at the Heritage Centre...

Duncan,Chris Gettings, Plasma and Mark GSi parked up...

And no day out would be complete with phot's of Dean eating would they...

Great little write up mate. And some real nice picture's. I love all the older car's. And my fav is the Lotus carlton of course.

quality pic's there mate, i did do 90 odd miles there, so was only de-bugging the front end and windscreen...............
