I will use it quite a lot as i'm on plain's and sitting around in airports a hell of a lot.

They're brilliant, got one myself (not the slimline but the original is slim enough), excellent for games and movies. The older ones play 'homebrew' games or I think you can change the firmware to run them.

if you do get the older one you can downgrade the firmware and then use a new "homebrew" firmware which will play games/ watch movies off a memorystick rather than the UMD disk.

downgraded a few now if you look on ebay you can always get the program to downgrade and then upgrade to the "dark Alex" firmware which seems to be one of the better upgrades out there.

Once you have done that there are plenty of sites you can download full games to play off your memory stick, you just got to remember unless you have the UMD disk of the game you are downloading on to your memorystick i guess you would be breaking the law

Just a note if you have got the older PSP and you are thinking of downgrading do not update the firmware current downgraders which i have used will only do 3.50 and below. guess new programs will be out soon but the higher you go the less chance of downgrading at a later date

    Love my PSP

Planes, trains, hotels, sitting in the car waiting for a client to arrive.

Also have a couple of movies on it too

Only playing 2 games at the moment, Fifa 07 and Test Drive Unlimited. I get hooked on one for weeks on end. Still have GTA sat in the box to play yet as well

Am getting a Lite one and giving my old one away, just want it to be that bit smaller and lighter as I carry it all the time, and you can now hook it up to a telly which you can' do with the original

I guess he means a cracked PSP as stated above to play games that you have downloaded over the internet, which is getting into dodgy ground and i don't think should be discussed on an open forum.

Next someone will be asking how you do it!

......and don't forget, if you get yourself one, and find a wireless hot spot, you can get online as well and see what Vectra-c are up to whilst you're on the move!!!! (although posting takes forever!)
