    Angry Brake Pad Warning Light

You might not think this is a big problem but it is buggin the hell out of me.
My Brake pad warning light came on recently @ 37k. I priced pads with vauxhall and various other after market companies. I bought an after market set and had them fitted by an ex-vauxhall mechanic. All good, except the light has came back on again. Does anyone know how to switch this thing off? Is it similar to switching off the service indicator?

Probably the mate that put the new pads on mess up the brake pad sensor....probably needs to be replaced....I think it`s an easy job and the sensor itself it`s not expensive for what I have read in othe related threads...

    Yep, Rob is right....

you can't just put the old sensor back on..once the sensor has worn down enough to make the light work it will need replacing...they're not dear at all..around £10 straight from VX..
