Arrow A little incident last night......

Had been round my mates for a while and left about 11.30pm i was driving and in the distance could see some shadows of people who looked like they were fighting on the path (about a mile from town). When i got close i could see a guy and a woman hands in the air and looked like they were fighting over the handbag which she was holding!

I stamped on my brakes thinking he was trying to rob her as i got out of my car she (about 40yo and not hot unfortunately) jumped into my passenger seat and said can you take me to 200 XXXXXX road please quickly. I asked what was going on and she said it was her husband but he wasnt being nice and had taken her phone and she had to get back to the 4 children at home quickly. I started the 2 mile drive as quick as poss and explained i wasnt a cab (she thought i was driving a Vectra lol) but thought the guy was robbing her, she was puffing and very histerical but got her home and she thanked me very much for stopping. I said i was glad the guy wasn't taking her handbag as i didnt fancy running up the road after him

It was quite good because i always wondered what i would do in a situation where someone needed help and now i know, the adrenalin just took over lol

Not very exciting to read probably but thought i would share

I was thinking the husband might try and grab the car when she jumped in and with the spoiler that would be the obvious thing to grab. He didnt though which was handy he just started to walk off. (Obviously i scared him lol)

I agree i think in certain incidents the adrenaline kicks in but you still have to be warey imo as it could be a set up ploy

Sounds like a player to me, thats why he wanted her phone.

Anyway, full marks for your upstanding actions, but beware a lot of these women are nothing but trouble and once you allow their bad karma in it's hard to shake it, I get it in the cab, one a**ehole is enough to ensure thats all I get all night, only way I know to shake it off is to drive by another one and not pick it up, and hope the next person in is a good person to restore the balance.
