    confused Map reading light.

    Couldn't see this in the How to section so.....

    Is it easy to do?

    How is it done?

    From what I vaguely remember, remove the clear plastic casing on the existing light and undo 2 torx screws, then unclip the alarm sensor behind of the light, then unclip the blank plate infront of the existing light (some have fitted sunglass holders here) and slide the whole light unit out, then unclip the cables, making a note of whcih way things go back in. Fitting the new light is the reverse. Something like that anyway.

    Just done mine , its easy to do pull the unit from nearest the windcreen downward and it will slide out, when the 3 torx screws are loose

    If you are fitting the sunglasses holder i found it easier to fit it in the map light before refitting it as it didnt click secure when the maplight was in situ in the car.
