Just bought one anybody else got one? What you think of it ?

I have one....Hasn't got me lost yet.

Mind you, when I tested it locally, I had to stop myself second guessing the instructions.

Sometimes on a journey it will take you the longer way to a destination, but I still always end up where I want.

The only thing that can be annoying is that whenever you creep over 70mph, an annoying chime goes off to tell you....Haven't figured out if there is a way to disable that yet.

Other than that...faultess!

I've got the F20 & so has Rich (ditchp), not a bad unit.

To disable or alter the speed alert, do the following:

from the menu screen go into preferences
then into navigation
then safety alert
you can turn it off or alter the speed it activates at

Whatever you do dont get the tmc (T1) traffic unit for it as it is useless and a complete waste of money. It takes for ever to get the info and when it does its nearly always wrong. Take my word for it as I use my daily or try to anyway.

Really impressed with this unit in general.
The only thing i've noticed is that some of the street names on it around where i stay are wrong. Does anyone know if this will sort itself?
Will a software upgrade rectify this?
