Say, average 32mpg in the 2.2?
    50 miles per day = 1.6gallons, about £6.50 - £7 a day.

Your trip computer tells you how many gallons used per trip. Press the left scroll wheel on the steeriing wheel and nudge/scroll through the options, and there should be read out that tells you gallons used (do the conversion to litres X cost per litre at pump.)

Best way to tell is brim the tank before your journey, reset the trip then brim again after 2 days. check the mileage and divide the amount of litres it took you to rebrim the tank eg 10 litres by 4.54 (there is roughly 4.54 litres to a gallon) to get the amount of gallons used.
10 divided by 4.54 =2.20 gallons if you had done 100 miles then divide 100 by 2.2= 45.4 mpg.

Brim fill .... is that to the first click on the petrol pump to stop, or do you really fill until you see fuel at the top of the filler neck?

Just remember to do it the same way on each fill and it's all good!
First click I always use, because that gives me 61 litres exactly.
