    Default Voiding of Warranty

What sort of things CAN be done without voiding the warranty?

My calipers are in real need of a good painting and I don't want to do anything that would upset VX.

Well if it's any use on my CDTi 150 SRi i changed my whole exhaust from Cat back, fitted 19's, did the air box mod, fitted a body kit, changed the brakes to 314mm GSi type and loads of other bits.
It had the fuel pump replaced under warranty afterwards and not a thing said apart from what a nice car it was

A lot depends on the individual dealers i think too m8.

They have to prove your mod affected the item needing warrany repair, so if you paint your callipers they couldn`t say your bonnet catch won`t be replaced for example. If you paint them up and have a future claim for say a sticky piston on the brakes and they could prove it was because you got a heap of paint in them they could refus it and charge you for looking at it as well. Pretty safe with callipers, it is up to vx to prove it was your fault as well not the other way round ..
