Default Vibration when air con switched on

When the car is idling and I turn on the A/C there is an increased vibration through the steering wheel, seats, and gear knob. Have read similar thread in common problems known to VX but not sure if this just affects cars made in 2002. Mine is 56 Vectra SRi 1.9 cdti Does anyone know anything about it

Nop I think it affects several years and models, if I recall right it`s just a matter of adjusting the compressor of the AC

Extra load on the Alternator at idle, Common I'm told via VX (characteristics of the engine), rev the car to 1200 rpm and the alternator should pickup and the lumpiness should go.

Unless anyone else knows something different.
