I can't beleive there are those making money on such things... so having a few minutes to kill I rang out the number and repeated the post by Ste

"get in car,
press and hold trip reset button on dash,
turn ignition to pos 2 (still holding trip button)
hold in button for another age of a small donkey and it will reset and show the max mile interval".

Guess what the person on the end of the line did.......

Hang up.....

Thing is ... he has feedback of 1139 ..... so if 1000 people buy the £0.99 email to reset their service indicator then he has made nearly a grand.

Maybe someone should put up a similar ad, but just put the link to the thread in the ebay item... 10 day auction would be about 10p.. Some (almost) free advertising for Vectra-c.com

There will always be people out there to buy it, and it aint illegal. I bet he's making a decent bundle out of this. He'll always have a market and TBH it's a pretty smart sale.
