    Default Colour Coding

    I have gone through the styling section and couldnt find anyhting on this...

    has anyone done or thought of colour coding the chrome bits of the sri interior??? its something im thinking of doing but would like to see a pic first if someone else has done it!

    Personally I think the SRi interior is about right, I wouldn't change it. But each to their own, all the chrome bits just come off (have a look in the How2 section, someone else has taken their dash apart).

    Usual story then - plastic primer, sand back, spray, sand back , lacquer, refit.

    sorry im a newbie to painting, if you sand back, wont that get rid of the colour?

    Very fine wet & dry sandpaper, and very gentle sanding should just take the shine off the colour you've applied, while leaving the surface as smooth as...er...a smooth thing. The lacquer should then hopefully reapply that shine.

    Easier said than done, though......probably worth practicing on a spare bit of plastic somewhere
