    Default Products for Star Silver

In peoples opinion what is the best product to bring up Star Silver ?

I am currently using Mer which is OK, I have tried Auto Glym, Turtle wax premium.

All are OK but I am after a really wet look, is this possible with Silver ?

I have heard of Victoria concourse, Natty's, Collinite, Meguairs etc all premium priced.

Is there any product that is suited to silver ?

I find that Colinite 915 or Victoria concours Wax works very well on my Star Silver motor.
You can get them from these sites.

How easy are they to use ?

It has got to be a hand job as I do not have any mechanicals.

I put my wax on by hand, it is very easy to put on and take off, in fact I prefere to do it that way than use my Porta Cable, [ I find the Porta Cable very usefull when aplying polish,s though]

Victoria goes on by hand, no cloth just a pea sized bit in your bare hand and rub it on, comes off very easily as well, no marks on plastic and good for the windows as well ..

This is Megs #16 paste wax. Not that expensive, only about £11-£12. Goes on and off real easy and is quite durable, but not as long lasting as Colinite. Prep is the key though mate, a wax is only as good as the surface it goes on. For best results in all recommended wax's your best to Clay, clean (megs DC1) and polish, then apply your wax.

I use AutoGlym Super Resin Polish, then Extra Gloss Protection (only because I had a bottle given to me), then Meguiars NXT Tech Wax.

The car doesn't look 'wet', but the silver flake really 'pops' in the sunlight (i believe that's the term used if you're in the know) and it's VERY shiny
