    Default Kerb Sensors

Just having a think this morning (i'm bored) on how useful it would be to have 'kerb sensors' built into the alloy wheels to prevent those nasty scuffs etc. Not sure how it would work, something similar to park assist?

The other way was to add 4 sensors to the sides skirts/sills (and/or ends of front/rear bumber near wheel arches) but they'd have to be small. I assume these would work with a toggle switch like aftermarket front sensors.

    Just a thought.....

Yep, I've heard that these exist. I believe they're called Exterior Yield Edge Sensors.

cheeeeese, yet more "aids" to help those people that can't drive!
I'm still of the opinion that Reversing Sensors should be banned.....!!!! If you can't drive backwards, you shouldn't be allowed to drive!!!

Cool - I think we should all ask at our local dealers when these will be available
