    Default Road tax pricing

    Following from this thread.
    http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=30437

I have gathered all the information on the Vectra/Signum engine range for the road tax we will be paying if our car's are newer than 23 March 06.
It could be helpful to someone.
I think I've got them all, But don't hang me if i haven't.
I think Band B is for motorbikes.

    1.8 190g/km
    1.8 vvti 180g/km
    2.0T 221g/km
    2.2 194g/km
    2.2 Auto 211g/km
    2.8T 254g/km
    2.8T Auto 269g/km
    3.2 242g/km
    3.2 Auto 254g/km
    1.9 cdti 8v 159g/km
    1.9cdti 16v 165g/km
    1.9 cdti 16v Auto 194g/km
    2.0 Dti 159g/km
    2.2 Dti 170g/km
    2.2 Dti Auto 200g/km
    3.0 cdti 189g/km
    3.0 cdti Auto 194g/km

There are seven bands of road tax and the cost varies depending on the emission of carbon dioxide per kilometre. To find out the emissions of your car you will need to contact the manufacturer.
Band A: Less than 100g carbon per kilometre: Zero
    Band B: 101g to 200g carbon per kilometre: £35
    Band C: 121g to 150g carbon per kilometre: £115
    Band D: 151g to 165g carbon per kilometre: £140
    Band E: 166g to 185g carbon per kilometre: £165
    Band F: 186g to 225g carbon per kilometre: £205
Band G: More than 225g carbon per kilometre: £300*
*Applies only to cars registered after March 23, 2006

    Vehicle : Vectra

    Trim : SRI NAV XP

    Engine : 1.9 CDTI 150

    Year : 2007

    Mileage : 72K

    Default

Thought the facelift 2.0T Vectra emitted only 206 g/km and the pre-facelift 214g/km. Signums and estates using that engine emit more than hatches and saloons. And the 'old' 1.8 'Active' was only 175g/km. How come the newer cars appear to have higher emissions from the same engine? Baffled.
