Default Diesel Car and Tunit RR day

Just read the feature in Diesel Car, nice to see you all in there, even the dodgy looking Abyss, , good looking figures, but strange that all cars where tested "as is" EXCEPT for AJA's which wiped the floor with them all, Dragon AND Tunit, but I see Tunit had half an hours play with AJA to try and save face, shame we weren't there to have the same courtesy so we could have beat there 197 figure (which we have).
I think it would have been fairer to have it at an independant Road, especially as Tunit and Diesel car have whats called "special interest".
Even so, very good publicity for Vectra-C and nice to see you in there!

Mike - the initial meet was organised as just a get together dude. Ian didn't initially go for the tuning box comparison, I think it's just the way it turned out.

I think your recent sales figures speak for themselves. Keep up the good work.

Anyway, see you on the 16th, so you can work some more magic on my mota.

BTW - I wouldn't say Abyss looked dodgy; he looked more like a used car salesman to me.

it was just meeting and a last get together for the N/WEST massif,

at the time there was about 5 diesel vec lads showing intrest in a R/Rday and i talked to victory at deisel car magazine about 5 or 6 diesel getting together on a rolling road he was intrested about it.

then it went to 14 cars and diffrent make of boxes it wasnt ment as a shoot out against diffrent boxes

and yes he is dodgy looking and old than me

mike when is the viper 44 coming out for the mighty V6 3.0 CDTi

Not a very nice comment. Pity my 2.0T wasn't there that day - it would've wiped the smile off his, or anyone elses, face!!!

Hi guys i am new here just been reading about you all in diesel car mag. Interesting to see how you like to go with tuning boxes.
I drive a seat ibiza cupra tdi 160bhp as standard chipped (remapped) to 198bhp.
The VW engine guys all preffer the remap route but they both have advantages i guess
