Just read this on BBC news, i wonder how much work time is 'wasted' by reading through vectra-c.com lol
(not that reading this site is wasteful, of course!)

I never log on at work. They track everything we do.... the only sites I use at work are google, google maps and a few government websites.
Right!!!
I'm not happy about my staff time wasting browsing while he should be working, so, I've just sacked myself, I did it in front of a mirror so I could see his face when I said .... YER FIRED A55H0LE!!!!
I only browse at lunch times; I'm, erm, on a late, long lunch break today.
I police the internet usage. Strangely facebook is banned but vectra-c isn't for some peculiar reason.
i have a certain advantage as i own the firm.... so unless i ban muyself during work hours ( very unlikely) i'm frre to browse as and when i want....About the only 'perk' i get thou..
We have the 'perk' of a PC in the staffroom - originally on dial up but now linked to the main server, but on the world's oldest PC - so we have the priviledge of waiting for it to load up for the duration of our ten minute break - thus reducing the amount of time the staff spend on non work related internet use to pretty well nothing..................very clever!!!
Try and log onto anything other than approved work related websites from your desk PC and the wall of hellfire and damnation crashes down on you, quickly followed by a visit from our IT police and a trip to the boss. Not really worth it, tbh
I do surf during the day - a 5 minute break from a really boring contract or proposal makes a wonderful mental difference - especially with some of the wit and humour that takes place on here.
